CAPACITY BUILDING AND BUSINESS INITIATION FOR WOMEN
LINGKAR initiate a “Sewing and patchwork/quilting Training“ and give capital goods such as several sewing machines and overlock sewing machine in September 2006. The target goup are women dan teenagers in Dasilan sub-village. As peasants who caring the land in everyday lives, these women have nothing much to do and less in skill too.The aim is to give a skill building. Moreover, it provides an alternative livelihood to enhance the family income, which may help to accelerate the reconstruction of their houses. Besides sewing and patchwork/quilting training, they also receive management and organization training, and business development training such as financial and marketing.
