At the commemoration of Jogjakarta-Central Java earthquake in 2007, LINGKAR use this moment to campaign on the social community resilience through a cultural appreciation. Some of the activities are Koran recitation with famous Moslem scholar and launching new batik motif. The new motif is designed to generate the spirit of social resilience. As one of Disaster risk reduction principle is reducing and transforming the community vulnerability, strengthening or revitalizing local values that already exist in the community such as mutual work, tolerance and community reliance is another thing worth to attempt. The new motif is also being socialized to wider community by post card publication as a novelty of Jogjakarta-Central Java 2006 earthquake
